A new psychological thriller named “The Secret Village” has begun shooting in Massachusetts. The Midnight Friends Films thriller is being directed by Swamy Kandan and is being produced by Sridhar Ranganath. Editing the film will be Christopher Holmes, who has worked on “The Patriot,” “Rocky 2” and “Donnie Brasco.”

“The Secret Village” stars Jonathan Bennett (“Pawn,” “Van Wilder: Freshman Year,” “Mean Girls”), Ali Faulkner (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1”), Stelio Savante (“A Million Colours,” “Starship Troopres Marauder” and “My Super Ex-Girlfriend) and Richard Riehle (“Bridesmaids,” “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”).

The film “follows two strangers that rent a house in ordre to research a mysterious outbreak of mass hysteria in a small village.”
