CinemaBlend and Variety are reporting that “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart has signed on to take a role in the film “Cali,” an action film set in Los Angeles.
The film has a weird plot–according to Variety, the film follows a character named Mya, who is a con artist along with her boyfriend Chris. Both are looking to make tons of cash fast, so decide to make a fake snuff movie with Mya as the “star.” The two make a ton of cash from the film, but it also forces them to fake Mya’s death and leave town. The plan works, but soon, Mya’s little sister needs help. Now, Mya and Chris have to return to California and deal with new issues in their relationship as well as confront “angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoner vet tech, [and] an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat.”
This film can’t be anything but entertaining, right? Stewart has signed on to play Mya. This is certainly going to be a far cry from Bella. You can read more about this film news at CinemaBlend and Variety.
