In an effort to further promote its release of its highly anticipated superhero action adventure film ‘The Avengers’ on Friday, Marvel has unveiled two new promos, Collider is reporting. The studio has released a new making-of-The-Avengers featurette, which provides a retrospective look at how the film developed. Marvel has also released a new IMAX TV promo, in an effort to convince audiences to see the movie in IMAX 3D.
‘The Avengers,’ which was directed by Joss Whedon, stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemswortha as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been recruited to defeat villain Loki, played by Tom Hidleston.
