Alki David is among the scheduled guest speakers at Digital Hollywood. Also among the speakers is Michael Bishara, the vice president and general manager of Synacor’s TV Everywhere, who is scheduled to speak at 10:45 a.m. PT at the Ritz Carton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California.
According to Market Watch, Bishara is heralded as a “TV Everywhere visionary, innovator and pioneer” and is largely credited as the man behind the development and successful launch of the popular service HBO GO. Bishara will be a part of the panel “Over the Top Video–TV, iPad, Tablet, Smartphone, PC–Connecting into the Future,” and will discuss how services and connected devices are erasing the barriers of the original television watching experience. Bishara will especially pinpoint how platforms like Synacor are the forces behind the adaptation of TV Everywhere as well as new ways to bring content to viewers.
Synacor, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, is a customer-branded platform that enables consumer electronics companies as well as cable, satellite and telecom to provide TV Everywhere and other digital entertainment, apps and services to consumers.
