Good news, “Aim High” fans! The first season of the online series has been so successful that a new season has been green lit! Warner Premiere, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, Dolphin Digital Studios, Inc., and Wonderland Sound and Vision announced Monday that a second season of “Aim High” is a go and shooting will begin in the Los Angeles area later this month. Jackson Rathbone, who is also best known as Jasper Hale from the “Twilight” film series will return as government operative (and high school student) Nick Green. Additional casting information will be announced soon.

The director for the second season of “Aim High” is Ari Sandel, who is an Academy Award winner for his live-action short film “West Bank Story.” Writer and previous Wonderland collaborator Daniel Mackey, is the screenwriter for this season.

Director McG, the producer of “Aim High,” said the first season was only a precursor to what’s in store for Green. “The first season of ‘Aim High’ was well received by online audiences and fans will be blown away by what we have planned for season two,” he said. “I am thrilled to be working with a filmmaker as talented as Ari Sandel. His proficiency in storytelling and ability to connect with a discriminate audience are second to none.”

Sandel also added, “I’m very excited to be working with McG and Warner Bros. on ‘Aim High’…When I saw the production quality of the first season I was truly impressed. Warner Bros. is really taking digital storytelling to new levels and I think fans will love what we have planned for season two.”
