It’s that time of the year again, where metal music ominously outshines its more subdued genre competitors. That’s right, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival is fast approaching and fans will have the opportunity for a chance to win two VIP passes to the heavy music festival, which includes performances from Slipknot, Slayer, Motörhead and more! The 2012 VIP Charity Ticket Auction will put the two winners onstage with their favorite band. Proceeds will benefit Metal of Honor and Living The Dream Foundation. Beginning this Thursday, May 17th and running for ten-days, fans can bid on eBay to win the exclusive Mayhem passes. The top bidder and their chosen guest will receive Level 1 premium reserved seats or General Admission ‘Pit’ tickets, a backstage tour to see the “inner workings” of Mayhem, all-day access to the VIP Lounge, a Mayhem custom artwork drum head autographed by members of one of their favorite bands on the tour, front line access to all the band signings and to watch their favorite band perform while onstage with them.
The eBay ticket auction will begin this Thursday at 8:30pm PST, CST and EST. 26 pairs of tickets with the VIP credentials for all 26 festival dates will be posted to eBay as ten day auctions.
