The first official trailer for the upcoming horror thriller ‘The Possession,’ starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick, has been released. The film, which is based on a true story and was directed by Ole Bornedal, hits theaters on August 31.
‘The Possession’ follows Clyde, played by Morgan, and Stephanie Brenek, portrayed by Sedgwick, whose youngest daughter, Em, becomes obsessed with an antique wood box she bought at a yard sale. When Em’s behavior becomes erratic, the couple fears there’s a malevolent force in their presence. They soon discover that the box holds a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and devours its human host.
