Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are being sued for illegally extending their backyard in Los Angeles by annexing neighboring land without permission, TMZ is reporting. The Mountain View Estate Owners’ Association, which governs the gated community adjacent to the Osbournes’ Hidden Hills home, filed the lawsuit in L.A. It claimed the Osbournes built a fence in their backyard that extended roughly 8,500 square feet into the Association’s land.
A surveyor working for the Association discovered the illegal extension on May 22, according to the lawsuit. But the lawsuit doesn’t say whether the Osbournes were ever notified that the fence extended onto the Association’s land.
Mountain View is demanding the court require the Osbournes remove the fence and stay off its property. A judge has yet to rule on the case, and the Osbournes haven’t commented.
