Miley Cyrus has announced that she is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Dating on and off since 2009 after working on the movie The Last Song together, it was revealed that the Australian actor popped the big question on May 31st. The Hannah Montana actress has been gloating ever since with tweets over her happiness. “Life is beautiful,” the nineteen year old Cyrus shared. Later she added, “thank you for all the love today :) I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. have a great day.”
She also spoke to People Magazine about the big news. “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.” Billy Ray Cyrus has since come out to give his daughter and soon to be son in law his approval. “All I ever hoped for as a daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams. To find happiness, peace of mind, and someday know true love,” he told HollywoodLife.com. Hemsworth reportedly proposed, giving Cyrus a vintage Neil Lane ring that is said to be 3.5 carats sitting atop 18 karat gold that is surrounded by diamonds that form an art nouveau pattern, per Ace Showbiz.
