Lindsay Lohan broke one of the major rules on the set of her upcoming Lifetime original movie ‘Liz & Dick’ by driving and crashing her rented Porsche earlier this month, TMZ is reporting. The actress is prohibited from driving while shooting the movie, in accordance with the insurance policy the production company took out on the film.
The insurance company that issued the policy would take a major hit if Lohan can’t finish shooting ‘Liz & Dick.’ With the company reluctant to take a risk with the actress, it set numerous conditions on its coverage. One of the major conditions was banning Lohan from driving, as it has caused her multiple problems in the past, including DUIs and accidents.
The producers on ‘Liz & Dick’ reportedly knew Lohan was in violation of the policy when she was driving. It appeared no one was concerned until she crashed the Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway, with a production SUV following right behind her.
The insurance company reportedly hasn’t attempted to cancel the policy or take any other action against Lohan or the producers. However, it has made it clear that the actress isn’t allowed to drive for the duration of the filming.
