It’s official! According to RumorFix, Chris Brown is game to fight Drake!
The performer confirmed his thoughts on the Celebrity Boxing Federation fight when one of RumorFix’s photographers was catching up to him. “Yeah, I would. I would,” Brown said when asked whether he would take up the Federation’s offer. This news comes after FilmOn.com’s founder/CEO Alki David offered to pay the winner of the fight $9 million and the loser $1 million. You can see video of Brown talking about the fight at RumorFix and below the post.
“We are very excited at FilmOn.TV that Chris Brown has accepted to fight his nemesis,” said David in a statement. “Should Drake accept the $10 million challenge to go toe to toe for three rounds against Chris Brown, both fighters will be put through training leading up to the Las Vegas event in September. They will be trained by iconic names in professional boxing history.”
The idea for the charity fight stems from the real life June 14 club fight at W.i.P.; the two were then fighting over singer Rihanna.
Speaking of Rihanna, David and Celebrity Boxing Federation promoter Damon Feldman are hoping Rihanna, the woman the two were fighting over, will be the ring girl. “One thing we know,” said David according to zap2it, “if she doesn’t be the ring girl, she will be watching.”
So an agreement to possibly one of the biggest charity fights has been made on camera! Will Drake commit as well? If they do, would you watch them fight? Give your opinions in the comments section below. And if the fight does become a reality, you’ll be able to watch it live on FilmOn.com!
