ShockYa has been following the development of the Chris Brown-Drake charity fight and now FilmOn.com founder and CEO Alki David and Celebrity Boxing Federation promoter Damon Feldman have confirmed to ShockYa that Chris Brown has agreed to fight Drake for charity!
“We are very excited at FilmOn.TV that Chris Brown has accepted to fight his nemesis,” said David to ShockYa. “Should Drake accept the $10 million challenge to go toe to toe for three rounds against Chris Brown, both fighters will be put through training leading up to the Las Vegas event in September. They will be trained by iconic names in professional boxing history.”
Brown’s agreement was caught on camera by RumorFix. When asked if he would participate in the fight, Brown said, “Yeah, I would. I would.” Brown’s acceptance of the boxing opportunity comes after David offered to pay the winner of the fight $9 million and the loser $1 million.
The idea for the charity fight stems from the real life June 14 club fight at W.i.P.; the two were then fighting over singer Rihanna.
Speaking of Rihanna, David and Feldman are hoping Rihanna, the woman the two were fighting over, will be the ring girl. “One thing we know,” said David according to zap2it, “if she doesn’t be the ring girl, she will be watching.”
