As Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are quickly settling their divorce, the ‘Jack and Jill’ actress may have an idea to split from her ‘Rock of Ages’ husband months ago, Radar Online is reporting. Holmes allegedly fired Cruise’s daughter, Bella, from her Holmes and Yang clothing company for no reason.
There were never any reports of tension between Holmes and Bella. Holmes reportedly made a carefully planned ambush because she didn’t want Bella working for her anymore after the divorce.
Former Scientology executive, Karen De La Carriere, told Radar Online the firing was a bold and courageous move. Holmes ambushed her husband, “and in so doing outwitted some of the most controlling people on Earth,” De La Carriere said.
The news of Bella’s firing comes after Holmes and Cruise determined that she will have primary custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri. Holmes will continue to live in New York City with Suri, but Cruise will have generous visitation rights.
After filing for divorce last month, Holmes moved into an apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood in New York. Tom finished filming ‘Oblivion’ in Iceland. He then returned to their home in Beverly Hills to spend his 50th birthday with Bella and his other child with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, son Connor.
