‘The Expendables 2,’ directed by Simon West, is ready to hit San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H this year with a new poster. The retro-looking original poster, which is an oil on canvas, was turned into 250 limited-edition prints on specialty canvas paper. The prints, signed by the cast, will be distributed at Comic Con.
The action sequel, which will hit theaters on August 17, stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, terry Crews, Randy Couture, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. New casts members include Liam Hemsworth, Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
The Expendables are reunited when they take on a seemingly simple job. But things go wrong and one of their own is killed, leaving the remaining team members to seek revenge in hostile territory. Determined for payback, the crew leaves a trail of destruction through opposing forces. They wreak havoc as they serve against the adversary who murdered their own.
