The soon to be divorced Tom Cruise will reportedly be visiting with his daughter as soon as filming on his latest project ‘Oblivion’ wraps. According to an unknown source, “as soon as he is done shooting he will arrange to see Suri. If he wasn’t shooting up in the mountains, I am sure he already would be with her.”The source went on to add, “There will be no photo op. His plan is to see Suri very, very often. He loves her dearly and is a normal parent.” In the meantime lawyer Bert Fields continues to object against all claims that Scientology was involved in the settlement between him and Katie. “The mere suggestion that the Church was involved in any element of the talks and ultimate settlement is categorically false. Anyone suggesting otherwise is just wrong,” he stated. Cruise is said to keep in touch with his daughter Siri by phone who is currently in the care of her mom Katie Holmes.
Filming on the Joseph Kosinski directed action/adventure film is expected to wrap as soon as this weekend. Cruise plays the leading character Jack Harper in the movie that follows a veteran soldier who is sent to a distant planet, where his mission is to eliminate an alien race. After his arrival, Cruise’s alter ego begins to have second thoughts about wiping out the aliens. Morgan Freeman, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Olga Kurylenko, and Melissa Leo, also star in the sci-fi fantasy. The film has an expected release date of April 26th 2013.
