The anticipated CBS Films production, “The Words,” is a little closer to general audiences with new “From Sundance to Screen” footage from the film. “The Words” is scheduled for general theatrical release on September 7, 2012, but this new footage provides viewers with an altered movie trailer which includes brief cast interviews and a bit of the film’s journey from the screens at the Sundance Film Festival to the big screens of a theatrical release.

“The Words” is written and directed by Brian Klugman (“Cloverfield”) and Lee Sternthal (“TRON: Legacy”),and stars Bradley Cooper (“The Hangover,” “Limitless”), Olivia Wilde (“TRON: Legacy”, “In Time”), Zoe Saldana (“Star Trek,” “Avatar”), Jeremy Irons (“Reversal of Fortune,” “The Lion King”), Dennis Quaid (“The Day After Tomorrow,” “Footloose”), and J.K. Simmons (“Spiderman,” “Juno”). The film follows the life of writer Rory Jansen who finally receives the literary success he’s been searching for after publishing a popular novel. Despite his success, however, Rory must face the consequences of his desperate ambition and the fact that he stole another man’s work.
