After over a year of dating, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are starting a new venture together. The young Hollywood power couple are finally producing an offspring, of sorts. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber has written and produced songs from Gomez’s upcoming album. Since the two are always glued to one another, it only makes sense that they would appear in each other’s musical ventures. In an interview with Canada’s “New Music Live,” The Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am called one of the songs written by Beiber “really awesome” and “really, really dope.”
This collaboration with Gomez isn’t the first time Bieber has taken a spot behind the scenes in the music scene. He has recently presented his protege, Carly Rae Jepsen, whose song “Call Me Maybe” is very popular – for better or for worse.
Gomez’s last album, “When the Sun Goes Down,” peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200. The release date for her newest album will be at some point in 2013. The new album will be “really fun,” according to Gomez (via an interview with E! News). Perhaps the dream couple of Gomez and Bieber will become the next music mogul power couple. We’ll just have to wait and see.
