Do you love soccer? Do you love the pursuit of love? Do you love romantic comedies? If you’re in the mood for a movie that combines two great things – soccer and love – you’re in for a treat! Romantic comedy “Playing for Keeps” is scheduled to open in the US on December 7, 2012, according to IMDB.

The film stars Gerard Butler (“300,” “Law Abiding Citizen”), Jessica Biel (“Total Recall,” “The A-Team”), Uma Thurman (“Pulp Fiction,” the “Kill Bill” movies), Catherine Zeta-Jones (“Rock of Ages,” “The Terminal”) and Dennis Quaid (“The Day After Tomorrow,” “Any Given Sunday”). If follows a charming, down-on-his luck former soccer star (Butler) who returns home to put his life back together. Looking for a way to rebuild his relationship with his son, he gets roped into coaching the boy’s soccer team. But his attempts to finally become an “adult” are met with hilarious challenges from the attractive “soccer moms” who pursue him at every turn. “Playing For Keeps” is directed by Gabriele Muccino, the director of “The Pursuit of Happyness.”

This film comes on the heels of Biel’s “Total Recall,” Zeta-Jones’ “Rock of Ages,” and Quaid’s “The Words.” For more information and a link to the trailer, check out the official website here.
