Michael Meyers, one of the most iconic villains in horror film history, will return in the new ‘Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers’ and ‘Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers’ Blu-rays. The Blu-rays, which feature new HD transfers and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio, will include over an hour of both archival and newly created bonus features.
‘Halloween 4′ and ‘Halloween 5′ will both retail with an SRP of $24.99. The two movies are now available for pre-order.
‘Halloween 4′ follows Michael as he returns to Haddonfield for Jamie Lloyd, played by Danielle Harris, the orphaned daughter of his sister, Laurie Strode. Dr. Sam Loomis, portrayed by Donald Pleasence, tries to stop Michael before he can harm his niece.
The bonus features on the ‘Halloween 4′ Blu-ray include an audio commentary with director Dwight H. Little and author Justin Beahm. There’s a second audio commentary with actors Ellie Cornell and Harris. The other bonus features include a discussion panel and the theatrical trailer.
‘Halloween 5′ follows Michael after he survived the mine explosion thought to have killed him. A year later, Jame is horrified to discover that she has a telepathic bond iwth her uncle. As Michael is on his way back to Haddonfield, Dr. Loomis finds another way to destroy him.
The bonus features for ‘Halloween 5′ include an audio commentary with actor Don Shanks and author Justin Beahm. The second audio commentary features director Dominique Othenin-Girard and actors Harris and Jeffrey Landman. The bonus features also include the theatrical trailer, the Halloween 5: Orginal Promo and Halloween 5: On The Set, a behind the scenes footage reel.
