‘The Campaign’ star Zach Galifianakis is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Quinn Lundberg, today in Vancouver, Celebuzz is reporting. According to the the invitations the couple sent, their guests will enjoy dinner and dancing at 5pm.
The 42-year-old ‘Hangover’ star is also celebrating the release of his new comedy, ‘The Campaign,’ which hit theaters yesterday. Directed by Jay Roach, the film, which had a budget of $60 million, is expected to make up to $25 million this weekend. If the movie, which also stars Will Ferrell, lives up to expectations, it will steal the projected number two spot fellow Warner Bros. film ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ was supposed to secure this weekend. The fourth installment of the Bourne series, ‘The Bourne Legacy,’ starring Jeremy RenNer, is expected to take the number one spot, which went to Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film for the past three weekends.
Galifianakis quietly proposed to Lundberg, who is originally from Canada, in June. The former ballerina co-founded the non-government organization Growing Voices, which supports a project helping victims of domestic violence in North Carolina, Galifianakis’ home state. The couple, who splits their time between North Carolina and Venice, California, has asked guests to donate to Growing Voices, which also aids rural education in Malawi in Africa.
