Making the announcement that he’s done with the Hollywood studio system and declaring himself an indie man from now on, Shia LaBeouf says he’s willing to go all the way for director Lars von Trier’s movie ‘The Nymphomaniacs’, MTV has confirmed after talking with the actor. LaBeouf’s latest project, that chronicles a woman and her hidden desires, will require him to perform sexual acts in what the ‘Lawless’ star shared “is going to be a wild movie.” Adding, “There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we’re doing [the sex] for real.” This won’t be the first time fans get to see LaBeouf in his birthday suit, the 26-year-old just made an appearance in Sigur Ros’ music video where he went all natural.
Since sharing the news that he’s planning to commit himself fully to ‘The Nymphomaniacs’, LaBeouf and his girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, were spotted in a heated debate a day later in Los Angeles. Pho was reportedly crying and yelling at the actor. She has since stated to the press that their disagreement was not over Shia’s upcoming sex scenes in the film. “It’s none of anybody’s business. Everything is fine with us. It was nothing affiliated with his movie,” she stated. Adding, “We’re normal people with normal lives”. ‘The Nymphomaniacs’ is slated for a 2013 release with actors Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe also on board.
