Kendra Wilkinson is standing up for women struggling to lose weight after having a child, especially after the media criticized Jessica Simpson earlier this summer for not losing her baby weight fast enough, Celebuzz is reporting. The television personality said she “needed to be at least one voice out there for someone’s who’s going trough that. As if the criticism is going to be power to get her to lose weight or something.”
Wilkinson also struggled to lose her baby weight after having her son, Hank Jr., in 2009. The author, who’s now back in shape, is sharing her tips and secrets on how she lost the weight.
The former ‘Girls Next Door’ star said she’s not on a regular workout routine, and she does whatever she wants to do at the time. She added that she always wants to try something new. She’s tried everything from yoga to rock climbing to mixed martial arts.
Wilkinson said her latest interest with fitness came about when her husband, Hank Baskett, opened up his own workout facility, Performance Gains. The top NFL and MMA trainers work there, so she gets a chance to do professional training.
Wilkinson added that she doesn’t diet, but she’s trained herself her entire life to eat healthy and to live a healthy lifestyle. “I’m very common-sense smart when it comes to balance-too much sugar, too little sugar, too much sodium, too little sodium,” she also said.
