The minutes ‘The Green Mile’ star Michael Clarke Duncan was without oxygen during his heart attack damaged his organs so badly he could never recover, TMZ is reporting. The Academy Award-nominated actor was reportedly without oxygen for more than five minutes during his heart attack on July 13, before his fiancee, Omarosa Manigualt, was able to re-start his heart with CPR.
Other reports claim that Duncan’s health slowly but steadily declined. He first suffered from kidney and pancreas problems, then extremely high blood pressure, until his body shut down.
Manigualt was reportedly told by Duncan’s doctors repeatedly that the actor was recovering and would be released soon. But then Duncan would suffer from another health problem before being released. She’s now making funeral arrangements at Forest Lawn, and is allegedly inconsolable.
