Miley Cyrus is a suspect in a criminal battery case, stemming from an incident that occurred Saturday night inside a Hollywood nightclub-theater, TMZ is reporting. The alleged victim in the case filed a police report early Sunday morning with the LAPD. He alleged that he and his friends were sitting behind the ‘So Undercover’ star and her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, at Beacher’s Madhouse at the Rooseveld Hotel.
The victim claimed he and his friends accidentally bumped into Hemsworth’s chair and the two parties exchanged words, with an argument quickly escalating. The victim said the ‘Expendables 2′ actor came close to his face, and Cyrus jumped between the two to break up the fight. Cyrus also allegedly pushed the victim and struck him in the face. However, the victim didn’t have any visible injuries from the fight.
A witness to the incident said he saw the argument, and Cyrus never the a punch. Hemsworth’s reps have yet to comment on the case, while Cyrus’ rep told TMZ “this claim is completely false and erroneous.”
