Former ‘NSync singer Lance Bass visited ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ yesterday and discussed his personal life with the talk show host. During the interview, Bass answered Williams’ questions about his favorite things, including his guilty pleasure of watching ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo;’ his favorite friend from the Kardashian family, Khloe; and his favorite girlfriend of fellow ‘NSync member Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel. The singer also revealed that his favorite ‘NSync song is an unreleased single from their hit ‘No Strings Attached’ album, ‘It Makes Me Ill.’
Bass, who currently hosts the celebrity pop culture radio show ‘Dirty Pop’ on Sirius, also confessed that he wants to get married and have children one day. The 32-year-old singer has been in a relationship for the past year-and-a-half with 25-year-old model and aspiring actor Michael Turchin. But Bass admitted that gay relationships don’t last as long because gay couples can’t marry in many American states.
The singer added that it wasn’t difficult for him to publicly admit in 2006 that he’s gay, because his family already knew. He was also in a relationship at the time. However, he never publiclly admitted his sexual preferences while in ‘NSync because he didn’t want to affect the careers of the other members. But he confessed to Williams that his one of his bandmate,s Chris Kirkpatrick, asked him twice while the group was still together if he was gay, because he never dated girls.
Bass also said he told friend Britney Spears that he’s gay in 2004, right after her wedding to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, in Las Vegas. She was crying and upset that she got married, so Bass admitted that he was gay to make her feel better.
