‘The Newsroom’ actress Alison Pill experienced an embarrassing Twitter blunder the other day. The 26 year old who is part of the Aaron Sorkin HBO hit drama accidentally tweeted a topless picture of herself to 14,000 of her loyal followers. “Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet… Apologies,” she wrote after the mishap. The picture featured the blonde actress wearing nothing but glasses as she stretched out on a bed. By the sounds of it Pill must have tried to delete the picture after deciding not to send it to her fiancé Jay Baruchel, who is best known for his work on ‘How To Train Your Dragon’, but ended up sending it instead.
After the topless tweet by the actress worked its way to thousands of eyes, Baruchel shrugged it off with a few jokes. “My fiancée is an hilarious dork.” Later on he tweeted, “Smartphones will get ya.” After Pill’s misfortune on Tuesday she managed to add 2,000 additional followers. According to USA Today “her honesty instead of blaming cellphone hackers,” was the reason behind new followers signing on to the star’s account. Aside from Pill’s involvement in ‘The Newsroom’ she has also been seen in ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World’, ‘Milk’, ‘Midnight in Paris’ and ‘Dan In Real Life’.
