Lindsay Lohan is suing Jose Rodriguez, the alleged victim who’s claiming the ‘Liz and Dick’ star hit him with her Porsche in New York City last week before driving away, for lying about the accident, The Hollywood Gossip is reporting. The actress was arrested after Rodriguez also alleged she smelled like alcohol on the scene of the accident, outside Manhattan’s Dream Hotel.
Rodriguez publicly said that Lohan was also slurring her words, even though the police who arrested her claimed that alcohol wasn’t involved. His claims come after the surveillance video at the Dream Hotel showed that he exaggerated his claims. Witnesses also said they saw Lohan at a Slash concert approximately 45 minutes before the accident, and she wasn’t drinking.
Lohan fears that she could lose work if she continues being accused of things she didn’t do. So she’s planning on suing Rodriguez for defamation.
