‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Johnny Lewis never gave his slain landlord, 81-year-old Catherine Davis, any reason to think he would cause her harm, her friend and co-worker, Maryann Kuk, told Celebuzz. Davis was found dead yesterday morning, after the actor allegedly beat her and her cat to death. He then reportedly attacked two more people before jumping to his own death.
Kuk said Davis never expressed any fears about her tenant, despite the horrific nature of his crimes. She added that he never caused Davis any harm before his alleged attacks. Kuk also said that she’s sure the police have a better idea why Lewis committed the crimes.
The actor was arrested three times year, twice for violent assaults. But Davis allowed him to stay in her home, which overlooks the Hollywood sign. She often rented out homes, including her own, through her Housing Solutions business, which gives people a start in Hollywood.
“This is devastating for all of us,” Kuk said when she found out Davis was killed. “She was the most gorgeous, beautiful and kind person I ever met, and she was a joy to work with and to know. To know her was to love her.”
