Study Psychic Abilities in New Red Lights DVD and Blu-ray

The latest mystery thriller from writer-director Rodrigo Cortes, ‘Red Lights,’ is now available on DVD and Blu-ray. The one-disc DVD and Blu-ray include several features, including cast interviews with stars Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy, Robert De Niro and Elizabeth Olsen. There’s also a director’s interview, in which Cortex reveals his inspirations for making the film.

The ‘Red Lights’ DVD and Blu-ray also include a Behind-the-Scenes feature, that gives a short look at the crew on set. The last feature, ‘The Making of ‘Red Lights,” features interviews and on-set footage.

Red Lights‘ follows veteran paranormal researchers Dr. Margaret Matheson (played by Weaver) and Tom Buckley (portrayed by Murphy) as they debunk fraudulent claims of psychic phenomena. Matheson can detect fraud by what she calls red lights, the subtle tricks behind every staged supernatural and rural occurrence. But when Simon (played by De Niro) comes out of retirement, his once-fearless rival Margaret warns Tom to back off, fearing retaliation from her old adversary.

Tom is determined to discredit Simon, and elicits help from his star student, Sally Owen (portrayed by Olsen). The two use every tool at their disposal to uncover the truth behind the charismatic mind reader. But Tom eventually must question his own core beliefs in his quest to discredit Simon.
