New pictures from the upcoming English-language remake of helmer Nicolas Winding Refn’s crime thriller ‘Pusher’ have been released. The new film, which was directed by Luis Prieto, is set to open in Los Angeles and New York on October 26, and is currently available on VOD.

‘Pusher’ is based on the visionary Danish trilogy by Refn, who served as an executive producer on the new film. The remake stars Richard Coyle as Frank, a drug dealer who grows increasingly desperate over the course of a week. After borrowing money from his supplier, Milo, played by Zlatko Buric, who reprised his role from the Danish trilogy, for a deal that doesn’t go according to plan, Frank in the merciless clutches of a ruthless crime lord. Frank is forced to come up with the money before Milo’s enforcer, Hakan, portrayed by Mem Ferda, looses his patience with him. As Frank is desperate to raise the money he owes, he turns on everyone in his life, including his girlfriend, Flo, played by Agyness Deyn.
