After standing within a sphere of one million volts of electricity for the past 72 hours, David Blaine will complete his most daring and interactive performance to date tonight at 8:40pm in New York City. The ‘Electrified-David Blaine + Intel’s Ultrabook Experience Closing Event’ will take place at Hudson River Park’s Pier 54 at 14th Street.

Reggie Watts will be in attendance at the closing event in New York to play the sphere’s tesla coils today at 3pm. There will also be a special musical performance at 7pm. The event will be streamed on YouTube and on LeTV’s official website in China.

During ‘Electrified: One Million Volts Always On,’ which was an unprecedented stunt that was inspired by Intel’s Ultrabook and started at 7:30pm on Friday, the volts were generated by the public. Through Ultrabook devices in stations in New York, London, beijing, Sydney and Tokyo, and by using the #Electrified hastag, the public controlled the direction and intensity of the light and sound emitted by the tesla coils.

Such celebrities as Pharrell, Darren Aronofsky, Rachel Weisz, Chris Rock, Woody Harrelson, Jonathan Cheban, Jemima Kirke, Harmony Korine, the Cults and Alicia Silverstone attended ‘Electrified: One Million Volts Always On’ over the weekend. Such musicians as Andrew W.K., POP ETC, HEALTH, Gavin Russom, Prince Rama, WINWIN and Javelin also participated in the experience.
