Bam Margera has admitted that his recent puppy prank was bad timing on his part, Celebuzz is reporting. The former ‘Jackass’ star tweeted a picture of himself holding a fake gun to his puppy’s head with the message, “if she poops one more time, she goes bye bye.”
However, while talking to Celebuzz’s Daily Buzz, Margera said he likes to use humor with shock value. He maintains that he was only joking. “I don’t think it was a joke gone bad,” he said. “The fact that Chester County had a few people who were burning dogs in the county…If I had known what just happened [in the county], I never would have done that.”
Shortly after Margera posted the photos on Twitter, the SPCA of Chester County, Pennsylvania, visited him and his family. He was later cleared of all speculation that he was part of dogs being tortured in the area.
Margera added that he had the fake gun because one of his friends gave it to him after a stalker broke into his house. The reality star said his friend tole him “If you ever have a stalker in your house again, you can scare them with this.”
The self-described animal lover said he’s currently looking for a new home for the puppy. “I thought I could handle having another dog, but it’s like having a kid,” Margera added.
Margeras’ mother, April, told him to make better choices with his sense of humor. “The world has changed and there are some things you just can’t do,” she said.
