The woman ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Taryn Manning allegedly assaulted, Holly Hartman, wants to drop all charges against the actress, TMZ is reporting. The two have been close for five years, as Hartman is Manning’s makeup artist. She and her two dogs also live with the actress, and the two have even vacationed together.
Manning and Hartman were partying late on Thursday night, and when they went back to the Dream hotel in New York, they were very drunk. The two started arguing, and it became physical around 2am. Manning, who has karate experience, allegedly struck Harman in the face with a closed fist. She also kicked Hartman in the face and torso, and slammed her head against the floor and wall.
Manning appeared in court on Friday on criminal charges of assault and obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. The actress’ lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ that he spoke with Hartman, and she indicated she didn’t want to press charges. He told the judge this, and that Hartman added that she and Manning love each other very much. Hartman also said she wants the case to just go away. It’s not known yet if the D.A. will drop, or proceed with, the case.
