Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney joked that ‘X-Factor’ judge Briteny Spears should get a job in a new online promo spoof for the singing competition, Celebuzz is reporting. The spoof features the former Governor of Massachusetts and President Barack Obama, as their second debate is re-imagined as an ‘X-Factor’ audition.
The two candidates face a tough panel of judges in the spoof. Simon Cowell tells Obama that “it sounded like you were dying.” Spears then told Romney “you’re really cute, but your vote isn’t really that great.” The Republican candidate responded, “I want you to get a job!”
The spoof of the upcoming Presidential Election was designed to get fans to vote for their favorite contestants as ‘The X-Factor’ moves to the live performances episodes. ‘The X-Factor,’ which was just renewed for a third season, airs Wednesday and Thursday nights on Fox.
