Sam Worthington was arrested for disorderly conduct-fighting in an Atlanta restaurant on Saturday, TMZ is reporting. Police are saying the ‘Avatar’ star was refused entrance to the restaurant Vortex after he got into an argument over not having the ID required to get inside. Employees also felt he was too intoxicated to enter the restaurant.
The police report on the incident includes a witness statement that says Worthington, who is in Atlanta filming the action drama thriller ‘Ten’ with Arnold Schwarzenegger, became disorderly. He allegedly pushed the Vortex’s doorman twice, and the doorman responded by pepper spraying him and putting him in handcuffs until police arrived. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video.
The charges against Worthington were subsequently dropped this morning in court. The cause was dismissed because the complaining witness failed to appear in court.
