Atlanta restaurant bouncer Jerry Link is claiming Sam Worthington screamed at him that he’s a DEA agent before he was arrested for disorderly conduct-fighting on Saturday, TMZ is reporting. Link, who works for the Vortex Bar and Grill, said the ‘Avatar’ star was belligerent outside the restaurant, and screamed at him “you f**ked up now!”
Link maced Worthington outside the restaurant, and put him in handcuffs until police arrived, after the actor allegedly pushed him twice. The bouncer refused Worthington access to Vortex because he was too drunk. Link didn’t recognize the actor, because he’s never seen ‘Avatar’ or ‘Terminator: Salvation.’ He added that Worthington was wearing a dirty hoodie and carrying a bunch of clothes. The crowd outside Vortex even believed Worthington was a homeless man.
The charges against Worthington, who is playing a DEA agent in his upcoming action thriller ‘Ten,’ which is filming in Atlanta, were dropped this morning. The charges were dismissed after Link failed to appear in court. However, the bouncer said no one told him that he was expected in court today.
