Like most authors that bid farewell to their famous fictitious characters at the close of a series, Twilight’s Stephenie Meyer recently made a few statements in regards to the Saga’s future that has fans crossing their fingers. As confirmed by RTE, Meyer dropped the news that she has a storyline in mind when it comes to the future of the beloved vampire couple, Bella and Edward, and their friends and family. Answering questions during a press conference, Meyer stated, “I wouldn’t say no absolutely,” when asked if she planned to return to the Twilight Saga.
Adding, “I’m not going to do it today, but I don’t know how I’m going to feel in five years. I planned out where it would go for a couple more books… there are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories. Adding, “Maybe someday, I’ll write it out just for myself. We’ll see.” Now if that doesn’t give fans hope, what will?
