Co-stars and on-again couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reunited on the red carpet last night in Los Angeles for the final installment in their hit adventure romance fantasy series, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2.’ The couple, who endured a cheating scandal over the summer, told ‘Extra’ that they are still blown away by the fans’ response, as some camped out for days for the premiere.
“It’s completely mental,” Pattinson told ‘Extra.’ He added that the fans are “saying thank you and it’s really nice.” Stewart was also impressed with the fans’ loyalty, saying “I recognize so many people speckled throughout the crowd…they’ve been in it with us for four and a half years.”
Several of the couple’s co-stars also appeared on the red carpet, feeling nostalgic. Taylor Lautner said “I’m so close with those people…it means a lot to share it with them.”
Ashley Greene added that she loves “the fact that we still have so much love for each other. It is nice to get to experience this all together.”
