It’s old news that George Lucas has relinquished control of Lucasfilm to Disney, selling the company for a lucrative sum. What people are probably wondering is what exactly made Lucas sell his company to the Mouse House. In the days and weeks since the acquisition, Disney has been quick about getting new Star Wars films on the fast track. Along with the news of Arndt writing the newest “Star Wars” film, news has also been released that more new “Star Wars” films will be on tap for moviegoers in the years to come.
