“Hitchcock” is directed by Sacha Gervasi and stars Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock and Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife, Alma Reville. The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Danny Huston, Toni Collette, Jessica Biel, Michael Stuhlbarg, James D’Arcy, Michael Wincott, Richard Portnow and Kurtwood Smith. The screenplay is written by John J. McLaughlin.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:

“HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho.”
