Comedienne Jenny Johnson, who is feuding with Chris Brown via Twitter, has broken her silence on the exchange, saying there is an investigation into whether the death threats against her are real, Celebuzz is reporting. “We are doing a bit of investigating…to see who are writing them and if they should be taken seriously—or just something we need to ignore,” Johnson said.
Some of the singer’s loyal fans have threatened to kill Johnson after the two had an argument on the social media Web site. After Brown was called a “piece of sh*t,” the actor told the Houston-based comedienne that she should perform oral sex on him.
Johnson said she was surprised when she heard about the exchange on ‘The View’ and CNN. But she added that she’s just letting the exchange with Brown go for now. She also said that she doesn’t know if it’s a good or bad thing that Brown decided to stop posting on Twitter.
Johnson previously expressed her distaste for Brown in May during an interview with paper Magazine. She said she’s “not a fan of Chris Brown’s for obvious reasons.” She explained, “he beat up a girl,” referring to Rihanna. “And he was so unapologetic about it and then continued to do things that were inappropriate — like throwing chairs or saying homophobic things to nightclub bouncers. He keeps telling people to ‘get over it.’ How do you get over it? Seriously?”
The exchange between Brown and Johnson began when the singer tweeted a picture of himself with the caption, “I look old as f**k! I’m only 23.” Johnson responded by saying, “I know! Being a worthless piece of sh*t can really age a person.”
The argument continued with Brown making crude jokes, and Johnson mentioning his mother. The comedienne even tweeted a link to a news story about the singer’s 2009 altercation with Rihanna. The exchanged ended when she tweeted, “I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing.”
Before he left Twitter, Brown wrote “To teambreezy… Know that I’m not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance. These bitches crazy..Further proved my point of how immature society is. #CarpeDiem Catch me in traffic…”
