Award-winning shopping and style magazine Lucky is currently hosting its ninth New York ultimate shopping event, Lucky Shops 2012. Lucky Shops has become the benchmark for all shopping events, bringing the pages of the magazine to life with a unique mix of established and up-and-coming designer brands at a variety of price points. Lucky’s team of experts have selected their favorite fashions, shoes, jewelry and more with items selling up to 70 percent off retail.
A portion of Lucky Shops 2012′s proceeds will go to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. The fund will help those affected by Hurricane Sandy, and will also be donated to Jennifer Hudson’s personal charity, the Julian D. King Gift Foundation.
Lucky Shops 2012 kicked off on Thursday night with a VIP charity event, hosted by Hudson. The Grammy Award-winner was joined by ‘Smash’ star Megan Hilty, ‘Blue Bloods’ actress Amy Carlson, ‘Grimm’s Claire Coffee and ‘Detachment‘ star Sami Gayle, among others who shopped and walked the red carpet.

Tickets for today’s events include the Super Shopper Saturday pass, between 10AM and 5PM EST, which cost $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
