Actors Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are currently in talks to star in ‘Get Hard’. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. is looking to acquire the comedy film that will star the duo. In the movie Ferrell is slated to play a “soft” investment banker who is headed to a maximum security prison after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. By the sounds of it Hart will play a blue collar worker with street smarts who decides to help Ferrell’s character get ready for the big house within only 30 days. The script for ‘Get Hard’ will be penned by Key and Peele’s executive producers Ian Roberts and Jay Martel with Gary Sanchez on board to produce.
Ferrell is currently working on ‘The Internship’ with Vince Vaughn where he will play a 40 year old intern. He is also back as the Anchorman in ‘The Legend Continues’ and will star in the movie ‘Three Mississippi’. Hart is attached to appear in director Steven Pink’s ‘About Last Night’, the celebrity apocalyptic drama from directors Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, ‘The End of the World’, ‘Valet Guys’ and the flick ‘Ride Along’. Confirmation on Get Hard’s status and casting should be released shortly.
