2013 finds horror in Chile with the film “Aftershock,” brought to you by horror master Eli Roth. The film, directed by Nicolás López (@nicolaslopez) and written by López and Roth (@eliroth), is the scary tale of a group of travelers who are in an underground nightclub when an earthquake hits. According to the logline, “What happens to a group of travelers who are in an underground nightclub in Chile when a massive earthquake hits? Hint: Nothing good!”

The travelers think that getting up to the surface is their only worry, but soon, they’ll realize there’s more for them to be afraid of. As the tagline states, “The only this more terrifying than mother nature…is human nature.”

You might have heard about the film earlier this year; it’s been reviewed by various horror sites and, according to IMDB, it’s a film that is so versatile, it will be a favorite with survival movie fans, horror fans and slasher fans.

The teaser trailer has been released, so you can see what you’ll be up for. Check it out below the post.

“Aftershock” stars Roth as well as Andrea Osvárt, Ariel Levy, Nicolás Martínez, Lorenza Izzo, Natasha Yarovenko and Selena Gomez.
