Matthew McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves, gave birth to the couple’s third child this morning at a hospital in Austin, Texas, TMZ is reporting. The ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star was at the hospital with the model, and was reportedly ecstatic for the arrival of their new child. McConaughey and Alves reportedly welcomed a daughter to their family.
The actor announced the news of Alves’ pregnancy on July 4 on Twitter, saying
“Happy birthday America, more good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child.” The couple met in 2006, and married in June, after having four-year-old son, Levi, and two-year-old daughter, Vida.
McConaughey is filming ‘Dallas Buyer’s Club,’ an AIDS biopic in which he plays Ron Woodroof, a man suffering from the disease in the 1980s. To portray the character, he lost 40 pounds, but reportedly looked like he gained weight back while at the hospital today.
