You’ve probably seen the ads for Disney’s upcoming “Oz The Great and Powerful” New Year’s Eve and possibly a little on New Year’s Day. But, with so much partying, you probably didn’t pay attention (or, if you were like me, you were too stunned by the “doomsday scenario”-type editing to pay too much attention to the content of the commercial).

Well, however you may have missed the TV spots for the live-action prequel to the classic film “The Wizard of Oz,” here they are below the post. Take in the clips from the film and decide whether you’re going to go see it in theaters March 8.

“Oz The Great and Powerful” stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a hack magician and swindler who gets swept up into a tornado and taken to Oz. There, he meets three magical sisters (Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis) who aren’t convinced he is the great wizard everyone in Oz has been waiting for. Oscar must make use of his magic tricks and other skills to find out who is really evil in Oz before it’s too late for this insane world and its inhabitants.

What do you think about the film? Give your opinions below.
