News that actor Josh Brolin was arrested this past New Year’s Eve has surfaced. The ‘Goonies’ alum and upcoming star of the ‘Gangster Squad’ reportedly got a little too rowdy celebrating the start of 2013 and was booked for public intoxication. Brolin was said to be with several friends in Santa Monica, California when he was taken in by police around three in the morning. He was then held by police until he sobered up around seven in morning. According to TMZ, Brolin was not formally charged for violations of any kind, posting bail for $250.
This isn’t the first time the actor has been arrested. The husband of Man of Steel’s Diane Lane was arrested and charged with spousal battery back in 2004. Later in 2008, Brolin was booked once again. This time the performer was reportedly part of an altercation at the Stray Cat Bar located in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was arrested alongside five members from the cast and crew of his movie ‘W’. The 44-year-old Brolin or his camp have yet to comment on his arrest.
