Entertainment Weekly’s First Look At The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Revealed

Entertainment Weekly’s got the scoop on what fans can expect from “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” and the fun starts right when you see the magazine’s cover!

According to CinemaBlend, Entertainment Weekly is giving its readers a look at the movie slate for 2013, and of course, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is chief among the list. The cover of this week’s magazine shows both Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Finnick (Sam Claflin), in their wetsuits, holding their weapons of choice. I will say that Claflin is giving major “Aquaman” vibes with that trident of his–if you’re a fan of the books, please don’t persecute me for saying this. I do think someone should talk to Claflin about taking on the Aquaman mantle, though, if ever a CW show about the character gets underway.

Anyway, check out more about this week’s magazine at You can also learn more at CinemaBlend.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” stars Lawrence as Katniss, one of the two winners from the historic 74th Hunger Games. Her fellow tribute, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) were the first duo winners of the Games, and now the Capitol is out for revenge (as well as to keep the status quo). “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” comes out November 22.

EDIT: New pictures can be found on Entertainment Weekly’s website as well as JenLawFans.
