Alicia Keys rocked out in Jennifer Fisher earrings while performing at the 2013 BET Honors at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. She matched the earrings with a red cropped top and matching maxi skirt while performing ‘Brand New Me’ for Halle Berry.
The BET Honors were established in 2008 by the Black Entertainment Network, in an effort to support the lives and achievements of African-American celebrities. The awards are presented annually and broadcast on BET during Black History Month.
Fisher started her line, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry, after the birth of her first child, Shane, as she created a personalized dog tag charm for him with his name. She then wanted to create jewelry that signifies her own personal style, and can be worn all the time. The designer provides each client, including Keys, Naomi Watts, Jessica Alba, Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Kidman, with individualized pieces. Since the birth of her daughter, Drew, Fisher has expanded the line for a woman with an edge, featuring such pieces with pave black or white diamond gothic letters, studded cuffs, insect charms and skull rings.
