Continuing the family feud with Lady Gaga, Sharon Osbourne defended her decision to take on the singer and her fans after they threatened her family, Celebuzz is reporting. The threat comes after a battle that originated between ‘The Talk’ co-host’s daughter, Kelly, and the ‘Edge of Glory’ singer. Lady Gaga sent an open letter to Kelly on January 10, telling her to stop making critical comments on E!’s ‘Fashion Police.’
Soon after, Sharon wrote the singer a letter. On the set of her CBS talk show, Sharon also criticized Lady Gaga and her fans’ violent rants against her family. Sharon told Celebuzz “My opinion is, Gaga wants a kinder world. Don’t let your fans be so hideously damaging, hurtful, violent, spread violence on your website.”
When asked if she felt guilty supporting Kelly in the battle, Sharon said, “How can you regret supporting your daughter?” She also pointed to the fact that Lady Gag’s mother had written the original letter with the singer. Sharron then reiterated that if anyone criticizes her family, they can expect to hear from her.
